PATERNITY
Both spouses have the obligation to subsidize their child(ren). But by definition, paternity is the process in which someone is out to prove that a man is the biological father of certain children. Lawsuits pertaining to paternity come about when there is need, financially, for the child(ren). Any woman who is with child or has child(ren) and any man who believes he is the birth father may bring about said lawsuit. Proving this is done with ease by a simple blood test. Once it is proven, the duty to provide for the child(ren) comes into play.
Visitation Once the guidelines are set for custody of the child(ren) then the courts set the rules for visitation. In Florida, it is guaranteed that both spouses share obligation for bringing up the child(ren). This is expected to be ongoing and often visitation. Each parent is given a title:
A. Primary, Residential B. Secondary |
